Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
The formation of the NDA government in Bihar has not resolved the ongoing dispute over the allocation of ministerial departments, particularly concerning the HAM Party. Despite the division of departments, Jitan Ram Manjhi, a key figure in the NDA coalition, remains dissatisfied, reiterating his demand for two ministerial portfolios. Manjhi emphasized the importance of equitable representation within the alliance, stating that the demand reflects the need for adequate resources to address issues in rural areas.
During his return to Patna from Mahakar in his village Gaya, Manjhi vocalized his stance, affirming that the demand for two ministerial posts is a domestic matter and not an external imposition. He has said that "this is a family matter, one roti does not fill our stomach, we will demand two-three rotis. We are demanding from our leader to give us at least two chapatis."
"We do politics of the poor, so we should get such a department so that we can work in our rural areas. We have put this demand before our leader. Now it is up to him to give or not. Also understand that even if we don't give, we will Will not say anything unpleasant"- Jitan Ram Manjhi added.
However, Jitan Ram Manjhi also said that the floor test of the NDA government to be held in the Assembly on the 12th will definitely be successful. In this, no one raises the question and the new NDA government will remain intact in Bihar.
